At The Grove, we believe our mission is to make and train disciples who make and train disciples (Matthew 28:19-20).
God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father,

Son and Holy Spirit. (II Corinthians 13:14).
The Bible

The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is completely true and without error in its original writings. It is the authority for life and faith. (II Timothy 3:16,17).
Jesus Christ
-
Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God, who died for our sins and physically rose from the dead. (1 Corinthians 15: 1-8, John 3:16).
Man
-
Everyone has sinned and is in need of a Savior. (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23).
Salvation
-
All who receive Jesus by faith, publicly confess Christ and are baptized become children of God, a relationship in which they are secure. (Acts 16:31; Romans 8:38,39; 1 John 5:13, Ephesians 2:8,9; Romans 6:3,4; Matthew 10:32,33). Walnut Grove Baptist Church practices baptism by immersion.
His Return

One day, Jesus Christ will return to earth, the living and dead will be judged, and Jesus will reign forever. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
